Addyson goes A.W.O.L

Melissa was terrified today...she couldn't find Addyson ANYWHERE!

The two of them were in our bedroom watching a movie. Melissa left Addy there to go check on the boys or get something downstairs or something. She wasn't gone for very long at all. When she came back Addy was no where to be found! Melissa called for her and called for her...no response. She searched the house from top to bottom, checked the doors - everything she could think of and no Addy. She checked all the usual places...in the girls room in front of the mirror putting make-up on, nothing; in the kitchen emptying drawers of their contents, notta; in the bathroom stirring 'things' in the toilet with the toilet brush (like last week), not there.

In the past she has shut herself in our closet and not able to get out so Melissa went to check it out. She opened the door to the closet...the light was out. But there was Addy! Sitting in the dark, behind closed doors - eating Marie's Lindt milk chocolate bar that I brought home for her the night before! Melissa said Addy had a surprised/guilty smile on her chocolate covered face and said "oh...hi"!

Proof from last summer that Addy is a chocolate lover.

I know that this is WAY premature...but hey, when you get an idea you gotta roll with it. If I had the guts, I'd take it to production!!

Wow! It actually came to pass!

We planned a w/e away with the original SixWises to Park City and it actually came to pass. It took a couple of tries but, in the end, the stars aligned, everbody's schedules meshed and we made it happen.

Me, Marie, Melissa, Robert, Stephanie and Kelsie wanted this weekend away from everything so we could get re-aquainted with each other. Life is unbelievable fast paced these days and we go long periods of time without hardly greeting each other.

So we went to Park City and found the coolest, funnest way possible to spend $108 (see video below), had a great dinner at the Main Street Pizza and Noodle Company, and chilled, as it were, in our in-room hottub of our rented condo. We even had the self discipline to sit and play a game with all of us! What a concept!

Fall Color Loop

Steve and Marie made a 200 mile loop through Evanston, Mirror Lake, Kamas to enjoy the fall colors. The timing couldn't have been better!

More fall colors...
